My mother was an art instructor at the U of A and Pima CC. She taught ceramics, drawing, art and useful fun crafts. I will teach you art and how to build awesome things to create that you can use many years from now, with beads, paint, tools, fabric, paper, cardboard, wood, string, thread, glitter, markers, mosiac, wood burning, fiber weaving, garden projects for green thumbs, butterfly lessons, bead looming, leather craft, glass art, paper art, resin art, and more. If your child or you have an interest in a particular field of art medium and or study, please let me know. My goal is to teach children not only the staples of art education, but to combine fun, to also allow them the creative freedom, to also express what their interests are and partake in these artistic and creative endeavors. This will be a team effort. I will first sit and talk to you and your child, to explore what your interest are, and share possibilities with you, and educate and enlighten you to your vast options. Art is a very vast and beautiful expressive subject, with many mediums to explore and learn. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do not allow sessions at my home or studio, nor do I travel to you. I will provide you with a pre-recorded YouTube video link for your sessions. I teach only through pre-recorded YouTube video, zoom appointment meetings, and Skype. I do not go to residences, nor do I allow students to travel to me, due to Covid and for my own personal safety of myself and family. I will go to schools and I can be contracted via school districts. I start by terminology and vocabulary, in order to familiarize students with basic tools needed for craft and activity. I allow questions from students as well. I then provide a syllabus per project activity, that lists the history of the items the students will be creating, along with a supplies list, and where to get items.

I'm a professional artisan jeweler and my mother was an art instructor as two universities, which gave me a wealth of knowledge onsevwral art mediums, in the world of art.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the difficulty of the project, lessons per student range from $100.00 an hour/per video to $320.00 per session. $320 are the cost of the advanced level courses, and depending on the difficulty of the project.
Now, due to Covid restrictions, each student will be provided with a syllabus of their needed materials to gather, two weeks before their pre recorded YouTube video or Zoom video session lesson begins. You will then be given an exclusive private class link to your session that will be unlocked upon each payment. 1 class = $100.00.
Upon enrollment, you will be informed in your syllabus of your needed materials, where to get them(mostly Amazon, BlickArts), your session time, date and duration.
After Covid restrictions are lifted, in person lesson may resume and will range from $120.00 to $360.00, which is the going rate for private art instruction.
If lessons are for jewelry instruction, or an extensive ongoing session/project that will require 2+ sessions, then the price will range from $120 per class session, to $250.00.
I also privide group video lessons for parties, bridal showers or events, with the cost of each student in group of $100.00. Group rate for 1-6 people is $600.00; for for 1-5 people = $500.00 and etc., but all group parties must register together, and list each name in the group, upon registration.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching for over 6 years. It started when I was in college and showed college mates, professors children, and many others, how to create items and useful crafts, they have often resulted in hobbies for the students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages, the range from 5 years old, to 60+.

I group event where I taught a bridal party how to make rings for each other.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be patient and don't give up if you're going to be my student!!! Believe in yourself and enter each process with a hopeful heart abs mind.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Problems, issues, if you don't understand something, or need extra help. It's good to ask questions!!! Don't be shy!!! Asking lots of 'why's and how's' are important and builds confidence in self-esteem and is knowledge. I'd rather have you ask me a million 'why's' and 'how's' than none at all. I don't want you to be confused. Art must be understood, but first embraced, and you can't embrace if you don't understand or grasp the true meaning of why and how one creates.
