What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce myself, and then ask the student what type of dance do they want to lean and is there a special occasion they are preparing for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters and bachelors degrees in dance and I have dance professionally. I am presently a elementary dance teacher in public school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $30 to $50 an hour depending on the skill of my students and the size of the class.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching dance on the side while I was dancing professionally.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from age 2 to 80. My motto is, if you can walk you and dance, and if you can't walk you can still dance. It's in the rhythm.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy Swing dancing at ballrooms in Los Angeles.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A students need a to be precise about what type of dance they are interested in learning so the teacher will know if they are equipped to handle the request.
