About

I provide assistance in achieving musical goals using flexible teaching tools. I'm incredibly supportive and will encourage students to go for anything and do my part in guiding them. I am clear with my expectations and I aim to have lessons that show growth on the student's behalf.

    Frequently asked questions

I ask what their current goals are, what they have been working on, and what helps them learn best. From there, I listen to how they play and assess the parts of their playing that could use improvement, and provide them with easy exercises to enhance those aspects.

I have studied with somw of the top flute instructors in Phoenix, and currently with a phenomenal instructor that has provided me with propper examples enhancing flute technique. I also currently study music at CSU Long Beach, where I collaborate with student regularly and build my performance skills.

If I travel to the lessons I will charge a dollar per mile, as well as a lesson fee of $25 for half an hour and $40 for an hour. If the student is willing to travel to my location, it will be $25 for 30 minutes and $40 for an hour. I will also offer Skype/FaceTime lessons for $15 for half an hour and $35 for an hour. I prefer to have lessons paid for two at a time to ensure payment stability.

I used to sell flutes at music store in Arizona, and would meet students through sells mostly. I also taught players of other instruments at school-particularly saxophone of clarinet- who wished to double on another instrument for jazz purposes.

As mentioned previously, I have taught saxophone/clarinet players, beginner students of youth and adult ages, and intermediate high school students. I'm happy to teach anyone willing to learn!

I recently oerformed the Sxhubert Aroegfione Sonata at a recital for fellow flute okayers. The event was easy going and enjoyable as an audience member and a performer!

Look for a teacher that is encouraging of your goals/ambitions but also capable of being honest with you about your current level of playing. Also, look for someone who can demonstrate what they ask of you.

Know what you want to work towards and be able to clearly describe your goals. Also, if you have had any issues with previous teachers, let them know so you can determine if it is likely you may come across them with the new teacher.
