About
I am currently a student at California State University, Long Beach majoring in Computer Science. Math has always been an interesting, comprehendible, and fascinating subject to me. Throughout my years in school I noticed my peers struggle with the subject, especially when I took AP Calculus. My friends were struggling and desperate to improve their grades. Given my ability to easily grasp the subject, they asked if I could help them and I accepted their request and genuinely wanted to help.
As I began my tutoring journey with my friends, what really inspired me was witnessing the moment any concept finally clicked for them. Witnessing those moments of relief for them was really satisfying. For this reason, I would like to help more students understand this subject.
In my experience, there are circumstances in which teachers tend to teach certain sections using different techniques and/or I may not remember a certain topic, therefore, I am willing to adapt and review the concepts in order to help the student in the most effective way possible.
