I am an experienced surfer and triathlete with 1o+ years of surfing and athletic experience. A graduate of Tulane University, I help my students use surfing and athletics to inspire them in all aspects of life. I am eager to help you or your child grow.
Surfing is a wonderful sport that you can do throughout your entire life. I enjoy teaching people how to surf and connecting them to the ocean and all its wonder.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet my student at the beach and begin by asking questions to determine their level of comfortability in the ocean. I never push my students in any way that can lead to risk. I start slow and speed up the training when the student is ready.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught surf lessons to many people from all over the nation over the past 5 years. I have a 100% success rate in regards to getting a student to stand up.

How did you get started teaching?
I have two younger brothers who I taught to surf when I was 10 out of the desire to want to experience surfing with my two best friends.

I have worked with many college students as well as children.

I am very excited that professional surfing contests are starting back up in Australia.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher is someone you are comfortable with as the ocean is a powerful source of energy.

Their ultimate goal within surfing.
