Hello I'm Tim. Welcome to Ableton SKOOL. I'm a member of the dj band, Soulcirque, which has recently played for such clients as the Emmys, BMW and Honda.
I grew up in Alaska and later got my Ableton Specialist Certificate from Berklee College of Music.
In my early 20s, I was a professional ballet dancer and have been a professional actor for years. You might recognize me from such films/tv shows as Step Up, House of Lies, The Frozen Ground, Last Man Standing, Kickin' It and Black Swan.
I'm also the founder of Ableton KLUB, a collective of music producers and musicians from Los Angeles who specialize in producing music with Ableton.
A huge perk of Ableton SKOOL is once you've achieved a certain level of proficiency in Ableton, you'll get an invite to the KLUB, where you can collaborate with other skilled producers and musicians weekly for free.
The lesson plan at SKOOL is one that focuses on producing. Right away, you'll start learning how to compose basic tracks. You can have all the technique in the world and still have no songs to show for it. With my guidance, before long, you'll have tracks you can share with your friends on your own Soundcloud, etc, and you'll have technique.
As for my neighborhood, there is free street parking and top-notch coffee shops just a block away for parents who'd like to enjoy a coffee during a child's lesson. Parents are also welcome to sit in on the lesson.
