I provide the highest quality archery coaching and instruction to beginning, intermediate, advanced and elite archers, including equipment selection, set-up and tuning in all archery disciplines, including Olympic Target Recurve, Traditional (Instinctive) Recurve and Longbow, and Compound Target Archery and use the most current modern instructional, coaching and training approaches and technique including the National Training System.

I am a USA Archery/National Field Archery Association Certified Level 4-NTS Coach, and have trained with USA Archery Olympic team coaching staff at the US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, and have completed US Olympic Committee Safe Sport training.

I take great pleasure in helping my students and athletes to improve and succeed, acheive their performance and competitive goals, finding the most effective and adaptive approach for each individual.

Wayne is a supportive and excellent archery coach. He is patient and instructs with tremendous clarity so that the student understands what every movement should entail. He took me from a rank beginner to competency within months. He listens carefully and answers all questions with kindness and clarity. He is also a warm and intelligent man, which adds to his appeal as a coach. He is at home with both young children and adults. He has in-depth knowledge of the muscle groups involved in archery and provides helpful guidelines for exercising and strengthening those muscles in between lessons. And the lessons are also fun.

My sister and I took intro an archery lesson with Wayne and liked it and him so much we returned the following week with a girlfriend who has also become his student. He is a articulate teacher, a serious archer, and had us all hitting targets within fifteen minutes of applying his directions. He clearly loves the sport, understands its nuances and knows how to make even a beginner feel successful and inspired.
