Hello,
I'm certified through the ABT National Training Curriculunm to teach Ballet to students of all ages and levels. I also teach a Horton, Limon, and Graham based Modern technique.
My professional background of 13 years includes The Lion King, Ailey ll, and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. I received my dance training from American Ballet Theater,Dance Theater of Harlem, the Baltimore School for the Arts, and the Ailey School.
I've been teaching for over 4 years now and I absolutely love it! I help to created strong and beautiful dancers by teaching technique in it's purest form. There's nothing more rewarding than to help a student of any age and level excell in the art of dance!
Some of my strongest qualities as a teacher are unconditional enthusiasm, creativity, clear and effective communication skills, specificity, adaptability, and artistry. When it comes to children, I have a sound understanding of each phase of development and I tailor my classes to accommodate that.
