A number of times I joined bands that had their lineup all set, were gig-ready from rehearsing but were missing that one important member to go out and perform. Would you or a child of yours like to learn to play electric bass just for fun and/or maybe work on being that all-important member?
My bass playing started 7 years ago and I've been teaching it for the last 2+ years for schools and on my own. 4 and 5 string electric for most all styles of music, using tablature or sheet music, sorry no slap/pop. For beginners we dive right into songs with hand training and timing the key issues. Theory such as the chords used and key we're in, scales/tricks to use, arpeggioing, etc. for people past beginner wanting to improvise and understand why things work.
8 years old up to all adult ages with all skill levels welcome. Any day of the week is possible. I will travel to your home with the fee based on your distance from me.
