About
I've been teaching belly dance in the San Fernando Valley area for the past year and a half. I break down all steps and make sure my students understand technique and movement with isolations. I take pride on teaching and want my students to learn and appreciate the art of belly dance. Dancing is a passion and comes from the soul. I show my students how to achieve greatness and enjoy dancing. We dance to express, Not to impress!. Dancing makes us happy!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what level my students are and focus on teaching them basic steps with technique, followed by combinations and choreography if requested.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been taking dance classes for the past 6 years and I have 4 belly dance certificates provided by international dancer Denise Arias. I have completed many workshops in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area throughout the years and I currently teach in Van Nuys California on a weekly basis.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices depends on the class time. Choreographies require an extra charge. One on one beginners class is $75 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started covering for my mentor, Denise Arias and then she asked me to do it on a more permanent basis in her studio
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from all levels, from beginning, intermediate, to advanced levels. I've created choreographies for dance troupes and sweet 15 and/or 16 birthdays.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Cairo Shimmy Quake. They have it every year at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. It's for the Belly Dance Community. You get to see all your friends and see them perform. Great place to perform too.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To be ready to work on areas of your body you never thought of. To be ready to sweat and have a great core workout. Belly dance inspires and brings out your feminine power. It makes me feel free. It makes you feel pretty.
