I have been working with Mr. Coelho for a long time now, working on solo pieces, excerpts, etudes, and clarinet exercises. He is an excellent teacher and a great person! He always has very helpful advice on clarinet playing, and he continuously inspires me to be a better musician. I truly think I have grown as a clarinetist under his guidance, in all aspects of technicality, tone, musicianship, and more. Also, he is a genuinely funny person who makes my time with him very fun and enriching. I recommend him very highly!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First of all it is important to get to know the student. I is important to get to know his/her abilities and problems and explore how the student responds to new challenges and information in order to deliver new knowledge in the most adequate way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am very lucky because throughout my career I always studied with some of the best teachers in the world. For that reason I have combined and developed new teaching techniques that proved to be super efficient, leading my students to very high standards.
