My name is Natalia Chartier. I am 38 years old from Berlin Germany. I live in California for the past 8 years. I have been driving since I was 18 years old and did my liscence in Germany and also have an California drivers liscence. I travelled for over ten years around the world and have been driving internationally. I have a bachelor in social work and psychology. I currently study Fashion Design in Los Angeles , California. I speak fluent German, Portuguese, English and basic Spanish. Next to school I drive for lyft ride service which I enjoy very much. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the first meeting , I assest the students driving experience and skills. After that, we will go on a test drive off road . Practice time off road until the student and I feel both comfortable driving in low traffic Neighbour hoods until the student feels comfortable driving. Besides that there will be lessons in driving theory. This is a very important part of lessons, since driving on the road has its own language and very important rules for safety.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor degree in education, social work and psychology and I have been driving for lyft for over a year and have given around 4000 rides safely to passengers in the Los Angeles area
How did you get started teaching?
i began teaching when I was 17 years old as intern during my university study's in Germany in social organizations. I fought young teens driving to integrate them back into society

Tewnager, young adults and single moms
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
the teacher should be very patient and have excellent communication skills.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask a lot of theoretical rules for driving
