Martha My Tutor

Hello! I have many years of experience in tutoring and teaching. I am a native English speaker and have a Master's degree in Psychology from Antioch University. My passion is to assist people who wish to learn to speak English or improve their reading and writing skills at school, on the job, or in their daily lives. I have lived all over the U.S. and understand the nuances associated with regional accents. My goal is to have each student develop a neutral accent. I have traveled to many countries where English is not the first language. I also offer tutoring in accent reduction.

I offer customized tutoring and specialize in working with those who speak no English to those who use English as a second language. I have been successful in working with people from virtually every part of the globe. I have an innate talent making everyone comfortable with the art of using English as their second language. I offer tutoring in person where you come to me at a Starbucks in Brentwood or I meet you at a public place, on the phone, and via Skype.
