What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Understanding their stregnths and weaknesess. Then going through how they were taught and what struggles they have and then apply what i know about beng a student to help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've tutored alot of kids from school from when i was in 7th grade. I've also been in service classes where i was taught how to help students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No i would usually get payed like for every 5 sessions but i am open to whatever is easiest for my client.
How did you get started teaching?
Well i started by my cousin who was struggling alot in his math classes, so i tutored him until he eventually got the hang of it. i really liked it so i started offering more kids at school my services.
What types of students have you worked with?
students ranging from the 5th grade to even sophmores in college. students that struggle with the concepts of math.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that is willing to be patient and is willing to work on your schedule.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What am i struggling with? Why do i not understand this? How can i memorize the stuff i was taught?
