About
All levels and styles are welcome. Lessons are determined by the students interest and range from excersies in observation, paint application, theoretical and historical information, mentorship, professional art-world skills, and studio visits.
Art is so much fun. Painting in particular is a beautiful, fun, expressive, and interesting process with centuries of traditions to draw from and innumerable new possibilities available today that cause contemporary artists to rethink how and why they are applying paint to a surface. Making art is central to my life and I am eager to share my experience, knowledge, and insight with others.
