About

I love Photography! As a self-taught photographer I spent a lot of time learning by doing, and finding materials that helped me with the genres I loved. I'm currently teaching young students life skills and photography is one of those. I'm always approached to help friends with their photography needs and I've reconized that more people want to build confidence in their photography skills. So i've been there, and thus think of me as your photography coach. I have experience in the photgraphy genres of Headshots, Architecture, Couples, and Events.

I love working in various genres and have learned nuances about each. I'd love to share my knowledge and help others become the artist or business person they seek to become.

    Frequently asked questions

We run an introduction to discuss your specific curriculum needs. Promote hands on excercises and theory to complement learning.

I've logged in many years of practice and evolved into professional work. Along that journey I have taught students of various ages/skills. I've held mini workshops, that consist of theory and practice assignments.

    Kids (12-16) $30/hr (individual)

    Young Adults (17-21) $50/hr (individual)

    Adults (+21) 70/hr (individual)

    Youth- Adults: 1-5 students per class ($30/ 8 week session - 1 hour instruction/session)

I'm approachable and colleauges/friends started asking for tips. I've since developed a basic curriculum, but realize there are different goals and skill levels with everyone, so the goal is to craft something that works for you.

    From ages +12 to adults

I've recently taught a photography theory workshop on event photography to a class of Middle Schoolers, for their yearbook photography class.

Call them and get to know their personality. Are they patient, and can they work with you at whatever skill level you are.

What skill level are the student and what specific goals do they have. Can the teacher help them.

Are students looking to build a lifeskill or are they looking to turn this into a professional career option.
