Guido Luciani Photography
About
I'm a very experienced Fine and Performing Arts Photographer very passionate about teaching. I have worked as a freelance photographer for many years in Los Angeles, New York, Montreal, San Francisco, etc. and taught privately primarily portraiture, performing arts photography and photo retouching. I love teaching and have experience doing so not only as a photographer but as an acting coach and computer technitian. Although I'll be happy to address, to the best of my ability, any technical questions that might arise during the creative process, my passion and the focus of my coaching is on your creativity and artistry and not on how to use a particular camera, lighting equipment or software. I will guide you into finding your own vision and artistic path whether your approach is fine arts, commercial or even just amateur photography.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time I'm only available for Skype/Online Lessons. Thanks
I'm a born-teacher and a perennial student. I believe that teaching others is the best way to learn and better myself as an artist. Although, like I wrote above, I'm very knowledgeable about the technical aspect of photography and sometimes teach more how-to classes, I enjoy guiding my students through their own creative process. Sharing the creative process with my students is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually have a short interview with the new student either in person, online or via email to find out about his/her expectations and how I can best help them. If we agree to move on, I will then design a course for the student or suggest to join a group class if applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: at the moment I'm only teaching via Skype/Online. Thank You
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Communication Arts and have taken multiple diverse photography courses throughout my life on both technique and concept.
