I have over 25 years of experience working with all age groups from 4th grade to 80 years old. I am a great people-person, both friendly and focused, and will be committed to both your satisfaction and growth. I am detail oriented, clear speaking, and enjoy a variety of hobbies. We're bound to have at least one interest in common--which can be a great first step to establishing a friendly working rapport. For nearly 3 decades, I've worked hard to help my 4th and 5th graders excel at math, be they neurotypical or special needs, math-reluctant or math lovers. I adore science! Whether it's the periodic table or the theory of evolution, weather

Hello! I’m a rising third-year at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. I’m home in Los Angeles for the summer, working independently as a filmmaker. I love learning, and I’d love to help support your child in whatever educational endeavors I can! I major in Literature and Film Studies, and I graduated with high academic honors from Pasadena High School in 2021. I’m comfortable tutoring in English (Creative Writing & Literature), Mathematics (up to Calculus AB), Science (Physics & Biology), History, and Visual/Performing Arts (Drawing, Painting, Piano, Viola, Guitar, and Electric Bass).

Hi. My name is Tai, and I graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. I have had extensive private tutoring and consulting experience helping many students do well and achieve A’s in math, science, and English classes through much practice and secret tips and strategies. I also help students develop and maintain a confident and positive mindset for success in exams, classes, and in life. I also helped Harvard undergraduates in Calculus, Biology, Organic Chemistry, and History as a peer tutor at the Harvard Bureau of Study Counsel. In addition, as a counselor at the Quest Scholars Program at Stanford University, I

Hi my name is Bright. I am a retired Math and Science teacher. I taught middle school for more than 25 years. I have the certificate to teach Math up to high school grades. I am a trained teacher and in all my years as a teacher, my students know as a teacher who allows all my students to understand and participate in every lesson and I believe in one size fits all. I also believe that every student can learn. I believe that every student’s learning method is different from others, so as a teacher it’s my duty to design the best way to teach or assist each student. Yes, I never really tutored online but I did some online teaching during Covi

Jodie is extremely knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in what she does. She helped me through a very difficult family situation that was hard to navigate without her help and support. Coach Deep did a great job of working with my 9 year old on QB skills as well as general fitness training and good athlete discipline and habits. His correction to my son’s deep pass throwing mechanics definitely made a noticeable difference this season for our team resulting in more touchdowns and less interceptions. He has and teaches a great work ethic that goes beyond just the sport.

Indy was my mentor for SAT prep. I went to public high school, was not very good at studying at the time, and was weakest in my math abilities. In the several months Indy worked with me during my senior year, Indy was patient with me, and -- most importantly -- taught smart. I feel I gained more confidence in math during my time with him than in at least two years of high school combined. My SAT scores turned out much better than expected, and I was accepted to attend Fairfield University in 2010 (my first-choice school). Much credit is due to Indy for that accomplishment. He was not just patient and smart, but he also eliminated my tension regarding the whole process. I would almost consider Indy more of a guru than just an SAT tutor, even though no yoga mats or meditation were involved in the tutoring. I recommend Indy as a teacher, tutor, or mentor in the highest degree possible, and hope you'll have the firsthand experience of understanding why.
