About
I love teaching. I am a professional artist and musician. I have a degree from Berklee College Of Music, yet I've been surfing, skating, and creating art since I could walk. My dad was a professional skateboarder and teacher, so I was put on a board at a very young age. I can teach all skill levels using techniques that are universally applicable over various creative mediums. I look forward to meeting you!
Thank you!

I love teaching and helping people develop new skills they didn't know they had. I have volunteered my teaching to local youth centers, public schools, and music schools in San Diego, C.A. I enjoy showing students various techniques for creating and expressing themselves that crossover the medium. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an Amateur/ Professional skateboarder as a young kid.
I have a Bachelors in Professional Music from Berklee College Of Music. 2012.
I am a full-time artist and teacher. I have been teaching professionally since 2006.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since I teach a variety of art forms, my pricing varies based on what my student is trying to accomplish.
How did you get started teaching?
Both of my parents are retired public school teachers in San Diego, C.A. They taught for 35 years each and I started teaching music when I was 16 years old. I was one of the youngest teachers in California Music Studios history.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. All skill levels. All ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Watching and experiencing a student surprising themselves with their own ability.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Test the waters. Take lessons from multiple teachers until you find the right fit. When you find the right fit, the relationship can last a lifetime. I am still in contact with some of my students from years ago and I am also still in contact with some of my teachers!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Try to really visualize what they want to achieve. Then attempt to articulate it to their teacher. Open communication is the way.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
