Courtney's Creative Tutoring
About
I enjoy all subjects, therefore I am highly educated in all subjects. I have completed Honors English 1, HMO Honor Biology, Algebra 1, HMO Honors World History, and Advanced Art. I have a passion for learning and teaching and it puts a smile on my face when the kids I teach receive success while learning.
I enjoy the passion I not only have for tutoring all subjects, but the passion I transfer to the students I teach. I love to see students succeed and I believe a happy mind= a happy life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I introduce myself and I introduce the subject the student will be tutored on. We then start small, with the basics, I ask where they currently are in learning the subject in school and we work our way up from there. I first make sure they have peranately learned the basics in order to move foward with learning the subject correctly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone through my freshman year of highscool and my middle school years/ elementary years in the highest level classes for my grade. I was in GATE as a child and I was in all honors and HMO classes last year which I recieved success in.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
yes, I charge 35 an hour per lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I realized I had a passion for learning, therefore I realized if I mastered each subject, I could do what I loved, teach others my knowledge.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many types of students, ages from 2 years old to 14 years old. All levels of learning. Some kids have needed help on learning a whole subject, some have needed help on learning a few details here and there. Overall, I have tought every kind of student that exists.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I absolutely loved starting school again, although it is virtual, I still love to learn and I love that we still have the opportunity to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should be comfortable enough to ask whatever question they need to while talking to their teachers, because no question is dumb and every student is different, therefore we should be able to meet whatever needs they require throughout their learning process.
