Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student building a friendship and having fun will be first on the list. After that, we will work on basic skills for baseball and start to build off the foundation and get more in-depth. Any student's skill level is accepted as I want to help anyone get better and have fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in college achieving my AA in Kinesiology and plan to become a college baseball coach one day. I have taken many classes on coaching and how to coach properly and effectively. I also am still playing baseball in college as this is my 19 years of playing so I have lots of experience in the game of baseball. Also, I have spent time helping coach a little league team with pitching and hitting, I really enjoyed this time helping the kids.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The standard pricing for my lessons is 30$ per hour. I can do one-hour lessons or more if you'd like And am available and would advise for multiple training sessions per week. Just talk to me and we can figure out a plan.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by helping coach a little league team for a year and really enjoyed the feeling of teaching others about baseball. Teaching the kids taught me a lot as well and it makes me happy.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with little leaguers all the way up to high schoolers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few years ago I assisted in coaching a little league team in pitching and hitting which was a great experience that I really enjoyed and led me to want to give lessons.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say give me a chance because I have the experience and knowledge to help you get better in any aspect of baseball and I am willing and wanting to help you achieve your goal.
