About
I have an art studio on my premises with space to work and extra materials that are beneficial for teaching in the arts. I also provide a syllabus and materials list for my students. Students will know what they need for the class and what to expect from the class.
Upon first correspondence we will discuss objectives and what medium we are going to work in.
I teach acrylic, mixable (water soluble) oil, and watercolor painting. I also teach jewelry making and sculpting with polymer clay.
I enjoy instilling knowledge and sharing with others what I enjoy in the arts.
I graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1997 with a B.A. in Art Education. I have experience working and or teaching sculpting, designing glass art, mural painting, jewelry making, and teaching art to home school children. My art has been displayed at Paint N’ Play in Monrovia and Art Walk for MAFA (Monrovia Association of Fine Arts) and marketed in several local stores. Also I have a website that displays some of my work and interest. It is www.denisewilliams.allyou.net. Currently, I enjoy making art and working in my studio to make fine art and jewelry from my home in Duarte, CA.
