Hello,
My name is Ray and I'm a pretty laid back individually I'm pretty humorous at times. I make sure that when I'm in the zone I get to business. I like to work solo, so my teachings are perfect for small groups or solo campers. I've been doing photography for 6 years. I really enjoy it, my specialty is studio photography. I love controlling every aspect of lighting, I also do natural lights and outdoor photography as well. If you want to get down to business I'm your guy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I would like to find out what it is you know.
Go over the basic
Do a simple test
Go over composition
Rule of third
I would show you how to use a light meter
Then I would put you through a photography workout and give you homework to practice your skills when you're at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Los Angeles film school.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What helped me when I was on my film journey, was to be open to different options when jumping in to becoming a photographer.
Also come in with a clear idea of what you want to practice, if you want to be a landscape photographer know that, if you want to be a portrait photographer know this. This way when you come to class we can focus on what you want to become. If you found out that you see something in a different area of photography be open to it.
