Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to make each of my trainings very personal. Since every kid/teen is different. I like to put them through a few skill tests. If they know what they are looking for then even better. I always make not only the first but all the sessions a fun and enjoyable experience just like the reason we play this awesome game!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing soccer most my life. With being offered to play with pumas in spain to having pro trials at the age of 20. To coaching my old high school team and being asked to coach at a higher level.
High school Varsity ( 4 years, 2 years captain)
NCCA D1 ( 1 year, with no scholarship or Recruitment)
Semi-pro( Current )
Elsinore High School Coach ( 2 years)
Club coach ( Comming soon)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices vary each person. Depending on skill levels, groups (Teamates or siblings), and Time of session
Im very honest with my pricing being $20-$60 each session
How did you get started teaching?
Right time, Right place and love of the game
What types of students have you worked with?
5-18 years old
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would look for a teacher/Coach who is honest. Who pushes your boundaries but also makes it something you enjoy doing. You dont want to be doing something every week not knowing if you will like it or not.
My Fovrite Quote is "Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen." Pete Carroll
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about their capabilites. They should really slow down and be honest with themselves. What can i Imporve in games? What makes me different? What do I see in games that others cant? What do I NOT see in games that other CAN?
You really want to understand what little (maybe big) but important changes can I make that will make me skyrocket into my dream world.
