What types of students have you worked with?
Children and adults of all ages and levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't look for a teacher who will promise you fast results. Music is a long and meticulous process, and takes years to master. There is no such thing as a quick learning process.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Will the student have an opportunity to perform on a big stage in front of the crowd, and how often? (Performing is the only motivation that exists for children, and if the teacher cannot provide such an opportunity, children will not take music seriously).
