About
My approach is very supportive, and I encourage my students to embrace their creativity and own unique style. My classes are the perfect balance of technical skills and intuitive creativity.
I love seeing what my students make! The way you hold your brush or pencil, your unique life experiences & personality all combined becomes pure art! It can never be recreated, and that is the most beautiful thing about this job. I love having the opportunity to give my students the tools and knowledge to express themselves artistically.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with a conversation about your experience thus far and goals for your creative practice. If it feels like a good fit we can schedule our first session!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recieved my BA in Integrated Studies from CSU Monterey Bay in 2013, specializing in fine art and environmental science.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $40/hr for one-on-one private lessons. I am available for private group lessons. I also schedule regular online group classes. Contact me for more info & pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
Several years into running my art business, teaching became something I was seriously considering. I knew I was ready when I reached a certain level of ease and confidence in my personal work. In 2018 I ran a crowdfunding campaign to invest in supplies for hosting group classes in my home studio. I have loved teaching ever since my first class!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly with beginner adults. Occasionally I work with kids too!
