About
I am a cellist and a conductor based in the San Francisco Bay Area who has played in and conducted a number of youth and regional ensembles over the past quarter-century, and who received a Bachelor's in Cello Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2014, as well as a Master's in Orchestral Conducting from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2018. It gives me enormous pleasure to dedicate myself towards helping cello students, along with orchestras and singers, learn and improve; I strive to make it a collaborative experience, demonstrating patience, encouragement, and humor whenever possible. While I certainly emphasize the strengthening of technique, my biggest priority of all is the conveying of musical expression.
