About
players/students get maximum reps to ensure productivity and development. I have a systematic approach to focus on areas that need the most development. I purposely challenges weaknesses in a players skill level and develop customized drill sets to address these areas...
I work with all levels and all age groups. I understand where players are at in their development and work tirelessly to improve those areas but with the coaching style that is conducive for each player. I enjoy watching players grow and develop, but I also build character in my players/students..I've been coaching for 40 years. I have passion and coach the game like a young coach. I played Div 1 baseball. I also understand the training and physical side of baseball. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Kinesiology. I am CIF coaching certified. I was the CIF state "role model coach of the year" in 2012 and the NFHS (nathional high school federation) california state coach of the year.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
find someone that you trust and respect. work with a coach that sees beyond your talent, a coach that has strong communication skills and empathy, goal oriented. Find a coach that is organized and has process consistency, meaning the player knows what to expect. A good coach gives constructive feedback and is knowledgable. Most importantly is a patient coach who is tolerabe to the growth process regardless of a players skill level..
