There're many music teachers and schools around but trust me - you want your child to be in Ivan's class. My daughter has been taking piano lessons with him since 2016 and to say that she tremendously improved her piano skills is one thing. There's so much more. My husband and I don't know much about music, but we always thought it's important for a child's development to play an instrument so we found her a piano teacher when she was 6. Unfortunately, she soon lost interest and would even say that she hated it. She stopped for a year and then our friends recommended Ivan's lessons. It was a turning point! She grew to love music - from hating to not-liking, to liking, to loving! Ivan seems to be diverse and approaches his students depending on their character. He's not just a great music teacher - he's like a psychologist too! I know I'm being wordy here but he deserves much more. If you're his student/a parent of his student, you know why you are in his class. Don't be shy, spread the word! Teachers like Ivan should be known.

My daughter takes lessons with Cal Music and has taken voice, piano and guitar lessons. In the years she has taken lessons, she has learned alot and had many wonderful teachers. The performances have given her confidence beyond what I though they would. I would highly recommend this studios for beginners and advanced students. I have recently decided to try to learn to sing as well and they found me the perfect teacher who makes me feel comfortable and I love my lessons also. We will be long time students here and would not go anywhere else.

My two years of lessons with Matthew Dueppen were the two most productive years of my playing. I made such a massive increase in playing ability from where I started to where I was when we ended. He was always able to help me in anyway with a problem I was having in my playing and he was always able to teach me in a way that was very understandable. He pushed me as a player to be better and I wouldn’t be where I am now without that. The music that he had me playwould focus on areas of weakness in my playing and I would notice great improvement in those areas over time of practicing. Even on the days where I was fighting myself and frustrated he was able to make me relax and play calmly without beating myself up, I have had nothing but good experiences and memories of my time taking lessons under Matt.

I like doing lessons with Jeremey because he is positive and helpful during the lesson. If there was a mistake in an exercise we were working on he takes it step by step to make it better. In addition, when we fix mistakes it’s in a very uplifting way. His lessons are very helpful and positive!
