What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began teaching in 1993 through the LEAP, an artists in public schools program, in NYC in 1993. My teaching expereince includes designing art programs for the homeless in the NYC shelters, teaching art to young women in a lock down facility in Cusco Peru, and environmental art at the Audubon Society in Holly Springs, MS. I lived and worked in NYC for 20 years as fine artist and in backdrop production , that is set painting and design and props for film and theater. I have a Masters of Fine Arts from Queens College, Flushing Queens, NY. I continue to paint and exhibit and I love to write.
