Have been doing lessons, baseball camps, and youth travel ball teams since 2014. I played 4 years of college baseball: 2 yrs Laney College and 2 yrs University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Won MVP of bay valley conference at Laney and MVP of the SWAC conference at Arkansas. I was drafted by Tampa Bay Rays and played 2 years of professional baseball. Coached 1 year at Canada Junior College in redwood city, 2 years Assistant coach at Holy Names University a divison 2 school in Oakland, CA. 2 years as assistant at Laney College in Oakland, Ca.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson will give us a good base on some of the things that we will focus on in our sessions. I want to be as clear as possible in explaining exactly why we are doing a drill. The best way to get develop fast is to understand what you are trying to perfect and have a reason for doing things. Obviously skill level of each individual will vary and so will the style of training depending on each individual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Playing career consist of: Analy High School MVP of Sonoma County League 2010/ Junior College Baseball at Laney College MVP of the bay valley conference 2012/ Division 1 baseball at Arkansas Pine Bluff SWAC Player of the Conference 2013/ Drafted in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft to the Tampa Bay Rays. Started coaching at the collegiate level in 2016. Canada College in redwood city 2016. Holy Names University Division 2 in 2017 & 2018. Currently at Laney College in Oakland since 2018-2019 season.

How did you get started teaching?
Hired at Canada College in 2016 as my first collegiate coaching job. Have been running Seals youth programs since 2015.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 5 and as old as Collegiate.

In the fall we ran hitting classes out of laney college on a weekly basis.
