The lessons will take place via Zoom. I adjust lesson plans according to age level, grade standards, child ability, and parent requests. I evaluate the child from the first session. Afterwards, I will create lesson plans to fit the needs of the child. I am always willing to listen to any additional parent suggestions and change the lesson structure accordingly before finalizing. Additionally, I create fun and visually appealing slideshows to make the online experience exciting and interesting for the child. $45 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started to gain an interest in teaching and working with students during my undergraduate degree. I fell in love with being in the classroom and helping students gain a better understanding of various concepts.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with neurotypical students and students on the Autism Spectrum Disorde spectrum.
I have had General Education experience with grades Pre-K-5th grade and Middle School. I also have experience in Special Education classrooms.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Seeing some of the children I work with finally gain an understanding of multiplication was a great moment. I can see how much my students have grown and it's inspiring to see how this is all possible even with the online learning environment.
