“Photography” can mean a lot of different things. It could be taking that one special photo of your child, or capturing a moment from nature in your backyard. Photography is personal, and I want to help everyone capture their personal moment.

As a professional photographer, I have worked for The Oakland Tribune, as well as newspapers in North Carolina and Louisiana. I have covered everything from tropicals storms and tornados to the NFL. I’ve also photographed weddings and created images to advertise for small businesses. I have the flexibility to understand what you want to accomplish with photography, and develop a plan to meet those objectives.

I love photography because of the people I meet while doing it. Once you get the buttons and gear, the technical aspects out of the way, you have a great tool for meeting new people, and getting to know their stories. Using a camera, you can say a lot about a person, and yourself at the same time.

The camera is more than a tool for self-expression – it’s a way to get to know the world more intimately!
