About
Hello and welcome to my profile. Please read on to see if you and I would be a great fit!
I am a Bay Area raised actress, singer, and songwriter working in London, represented by Pemberton Associates Agency. I teach online private lessons to performers of any age and level.
About me:
I released my first original full length album in August 2022, and In 2023 I received my Masters in Musical Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. In 2018 I received my BA in Voice from Saint Mary's College, where I received the Louis LeFevre award for "outstanding academic acheivement in the performing arts major." I am EFP certified in the world renowned vocal science method: Estill Voice Training. I now work as a performing artist in London, traveling back to the Bay Area twice a year to see students in person.
What I offer:
High value, 1-1 online coaching tailored to your student. I offer the following genres of lessons.

Why I do what I do:
I love seeing a student accomplish something that they never thought they could. I truly believe that all of us can sing! We all have the necessary tools, we just need to know how to use them. When I can guide a student to reach that one part of the song that they thought was just out of their range...that is so exciting.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically start with a trial lesson where I chat with the student and get to know them and their voice. I get to know what type of music they like, why they want to take lessons, and any particular trouble spots they are really keen to work on. Then I take them through a few scales to get an idea of their range and voice type. Time permitting, we will start working on a song that I have brought in. By the end of the first lesson, we usually have picked a song to work on for next week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education:
- MA in Musical Theatre from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama BA in Music (Focuses: Vocal performance/Vocal Jazz/Vocal Science) from Saint Mary's College of California. - Estill Figure Proficiency certificate in Estill Voice Training.
Experience:
- 6 years experience teaching private voice lessons
- 6 years experience teaching voice for youth musical theatre
- 4 years experience accompanying youth musicals
- 20 years experience perfomring and singing in stage plays and musicals
- 12 years experience playing piano

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching directly after graduating college. My first teaching job was to music direct a youth production of Aladdin. Many of the students from that production asked if I taught voice lessons, so I opened my private studio!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of people. My youngest student was 5 years old, and my oldest was 45. At the moment, I mostly teach Pop and Musical Theatre to girls between the ages of 9 and 13, but I also have two adult male students who like to work on jazz and folk!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to go with someone who you can connect with, and who puts vocal health at the forefront. Young voices especially need to be treated with care!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about why you want to take lessons. Is it just for fun? Is it because you one day dream of being on broadway? Thinking about why you are doing this will help us focus on what is truly important to you during our lessons.
