How did you get started teaching?
I've played, watched, and learned the game of soccer since I was 4 years old. I love the teamwork, competitiveness, skill, and workout the beautiful game of soccer offers to all players. I enjoy connecting with players on the field and helping them learn about the game and become better players.
What types of students have you worked with?
Girls and boys of all ages. I also work with adults that want to learn about the game, refine their skills, take their game to the next level, or get a solid work out.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that has good experience in the field, is passionate about their work, makes you feel comfortable but also challenges you, and one that shows compassion for your learning style.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are my weaknesses? Where do I feel comfortable and where do I feel uncomfortable?
