Florian Valot

My name is Florian Valot, a 33-year-old professional soccer player currently playing for Oakland Roots in the USL Championship. I’ve been a professional player for over 11 years, with experience in MLS, the USL, NCAA Division I soccer, and development in a top European academy in PSG and AS Monaco. My journey through these different levels of the game has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to grow as a player.

I specialize in training youth players ages 6–18, with a strong focus on building the right technical foundation. I believe that mastering the basics, first touch, ball control, passing, and dribbling, is essential for any player who wants to reach the next level. My coaching style is very personalized, and I adapt each session to the level, strengths, and needs of the player.

Training sessions typically start with a dynamic warm-up and foot skills, move into technical development, and finish with competitive drills or challenges to build confidence and game awareness. My goal is to create a professional, positive environment where players can improve their skills, understand the game better, and develop a true love for soccer.
