About
I am a high-energy coach that loves the game and the opportunity to improve others' game!
I have a lot of experience coaching, specifically kids in elementary and middle school kids. I have helped run numerous camps in the summer in St. Louis, Irvine, San Diego and Phoenix for 5 years. I am able to asses what level a kid is at and help him improve his game. I’ve worked high school camps, college camps and recently Breakthrough basketball camp. Training wise I am given stations and drills to help kids in my coaching experience. At the higher level I have shadowed and help train for professional players as well.
Athletically I have always played at high level in middle school and high school outside of school basketball I competed in the EYBL for Bradley Beal Elite. In high school in 2018 I led the state of Missouri in scoring. Which allowed me to play Division 1 basketball at University of California Irvine. I now attend and play at Ottawa University Arizona and have received numerous players of the week in our conference.
The first session I always asses the clients level and decide the skill level of each drill. I typically begin with a short 5 minute stretch to get loose. Next, I will do some ball handling that will vary based on level. Then I do form shooting for a few minutes. Once they are warm in calibrated we will go into different drills. Including finishing, shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble and pick and roll reads. I excel at finding the right drills given the skill level of the client.
