Taurean Prince of the Minnesota Timberwolves is our ambassador and I'm blessed to be able to call him my son.
We give youth opportunities to learn the basics of basketball in our program with an opportunity to play select basketball with our Prince Elite travel Basktball teams.
We also believe in the student athletes principal and work hard to help our youth be the best student athlete they can be.
Helping! No better feeling than to see a youths face light up after they have achieved something or learned that it's ok to fail, because failure breeds success. Also, you can never ever replace the smile of the first time success is achieved.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talk to find out what he or she likes about the game, then go out to see how well their skills are in dribbling,passing and team work after we beat those skills then we move on to the shooting drills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained both my children well enough to gain scholarships to university's in basketball and to see them graduate with degrees. One has went on to play professionally in the NBA.

How did you get started teaching?
I got tired of my son asking to play basketball with others and thought it best he learn how to play the game. I signed up at the YMCA and became an assistant coach and the following year I was the head coach and my son never looked back.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the two can communicate well and that both have a mutual respect for each other and the work that needs to be done.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Expectations after beginning workouts? Plans and tolls needed to reach these goals. Will their be documented information to show progress. What occurs when we reach goals and what occurs when we fail to reach goals.
