I have many years of teaching drawing and watercolor privately and in the classroom. I worked st the Bowers Kidseum for 6 years . l love seeing my students progress and develop a style that is their own. I now am an adjunct teacher at Santa Ana College where I have taught drawing, watercolor and art appreciation. I also teach privately and at Catalyst Studios.
I love seeing the satisfaction my students have when they have completed a successful project or have learned something new.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first work together on a simple drawing so I can see what the student can do. Going from there the student and I will discuss what he or she would like to learn and their favorite subject matter. I will begin with basic drawing techniques and add to what knowledge they already have. From there we will make art!!
