Arron Chin is an excellent instructor. He tailors his lesson to the individual, and gives clear direction and examples. He works hard to prevent bad habits, and gives great homework each week so that I can improve. I would highly recommend him.

    Frequently asked questions

Start with the basics, form, stance, hand position, equipment knowladge.

I've been shooting archery for 39 years, I have taught over 200+ students , helped and design several 3d archery ranges.

currently a pro staff shooter for FatShafts archery, Element archery, 60x custom bow strings

I start with the basics, form, hand position, focus, shooting processes, how to control your breathing, controlling target panic, equipment knowledge. Several forms of equipment care and tuning. I prefer to teach students who are serious, and who either have equipment, or are willing to get equipment, those who invest in themselves are also willing to invest time in archery. Archery is alot of fun, but also alot of work. And can be extremely rewarding in many aspects in life bot on and off the feild. Students meet with me 4 or 5 times a month for 1 hour sessions, those that live farther we meet twice a month for 2 hour sessions. I do give home work, be it blank bailing, to work out routines. You have to build up chest, back, and arm strength in order to shoot well, archery is all about repetition, and control. Payments: Students pay in advance for the entire month, if you miss a class we make it up either by doubling up the next session, or by picking a day I can attach you to another class. Students who miss 3 consecutive lessons in a monthly with out notice will be terminated, I value both my time and yours.

It started when I was younger, I've trained over 200+boy scouts, helped run summer camps, and also helped design and implament 2 3d archery ranges.

I work with any student who wants to learn, from any walk of life. I've taught 1 on 1, and I've taught large classes. Any age range.
I tend to shoot as many events I can through out the year, once a student is ready, I will take you to events.
Come in with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, and have fun. Know there is a time for play, and a time for learning. You will only get out of this experience, what you put into it.
Do you want to learn? Do you or can you make time? Do you have equipment, or will you get equipment? What do you hope to gain from classes? Are you willing to dedicate time each week to better yourself?
