I center a personalized, individual approach to every student, lesson, and subject. I want to understand how the student learns best, and ensure that they understand the material by asking probing questions, and eventually asking enough questions to demonstrate they can walk someone else through the material; that is the true mark of knowing, understanding and mastering the information.

I love working with my students, ensuring they understand what we're working on, and letting them know I am on their team! High school students, especially, are incredibly overworked as they prepare for college, play sports, participate in extracurriculars, and fit in time for studying. I want them to know my goal is to help them reach their goals by ensuring that they understand the material. I will work with the student and their parents on an appropriate amount of additional work between lessons, as needed, but if they can demonstrate understanding and fluency of the topics via homework already assigned to them, all the better!
