Personal IT Service - All Ages

I'm a self-taught techie, and I offer my skills and knowledge to others who might be challenged getting up to speed in the 21st century. My specialty is working with fellow Baby Boomers but I'll work with any age. Nobody has all the answers; I am always learning too. But many of my friends call on me when something comes up that they can't figure out, whether it's on their computer, phone, tablet, etc. I know people who fear technology in general. Trust me when I say there is nothing to fear! And despite the adage that "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", I beg to differ. I've learned and you can also learn to use technology to help you. Besides, learning new things is good for your aging brain - whatever your age. I will gently GUIDE you. I will NEVER talk down you.

Here is some of what I offer:

* Basic skills - You've got a computer, but you haven't quite figured out how to use it well, for example, learning how to set up and manage email accounts. Or maybe you've thought of purchasing a new computer? I can help with that, too.

* Internet Skills - There literally is a world of information available if you know how to find it. What kinds of things are on the Internet and how can you find them? What is social networking and how to use it? You've probably heard about scammers and viruses, but do you know how to avoid them? I can help with all these.

* Digital Photography Skills - You may have a digital camera, but if you are like many, you're not quite sure how to download and organize your photos. I can also offer tips on how to take better photos.

* eBay Selling Tips - I have taken a course in eBay Sales, and can offer you tips that I have learned in my personal experience selling on eBay.

Over the years, I've learned many things that have helped me organize my time better and improve my lifestyle. Technology affords us more opportunities than ever before to make improvements in our everyday lives. And I am eager to share with you.
