FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My typical process for working with a new studen is to ask a couple of questions to understand his or her needs, this way I can help student in the best possible way to meet his/her need. My goal is to help student improve and to gain momentum to get inspire and keep making progress.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Academic drawing in professional art school.

Have experience in both Fine and Commercial art, also Fashion Illustration and desing.

Leadership skills. Organized and disciplined.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes.

or $100 p/h client's home

Minimum 2hrs. per class.

Group lessons vary in price.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching when I was 22 by helping my mentor Mark Westermoe with his drawing classes. I learned thw system, from hiring models, setting up studio and lighting and the process of each class. Figure, portrait or painting class. Later I got my official classes.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have trained different levels and ages.

From retired Doctors and lawyers to high school teens and children 9yrs. old and up.

I preffer working with adults but LOVE teaching in general.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Last year Spring 2018

I worked with the department of FASHION DESING at OTIS College of Art and Design teaching Model drawing for the Junior class.

All my students passed the class and got excellent feedbacks.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

To check his/her work and making sure the Instructor knows how to draw well as well as explain the process.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

I believe the most important thing for a student is to know WHY the students want to draw.

Then the teacher knows how to help better. if the student doesn't know, then the teacher can just teach anything. oviosly art related but if the students knows WHAT he or she wants to get out of the class then the teaching is more specific and results are better in both ends.
