I always try to straighten out expectations from students straight to the floor, whether professional or beginners alike. I teach to share what I have discovered in art when I was growing up , andd dc grew up under no one's tutelage but I have learned, I have survived, and I have risen from the heap of insecurities, and mistakes I have made in the past on canvas and in life. You gotta love life to paint! That's one of the motivating factors why I paint... because God has given us hands and minds to work with, to appreciate the beautiful things around us, and to use what He has given us for His glory!  The mind of a new student is fertile for the consciousness to till, to plow, to dig in, to mold, to shape and to poise to fly like a phoenix in God's perfect time!
