About
I have a passion for creating floral and landscape prints. Through teaching, I want to help students improve their photography and learn how to create art and memories that transcend time.
I've been a photographer for five years based in the Bay Area. Most of my photography has been along the coast or in parks in California. Having grown up in this area, I know the area well and am able to show students how to search for locations as well as solid compositions that really make an area stand out.
I enjoy creating art and teaching others how to create art and find what interests them. It brings me immense satisfaction to watch students improve.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe in a consultation with any potential student, which includes discussion about interests, and what they really want to focus on. After that, depending on interests and skill level, lessons are structured to start with the basics and work upwards, including knowledge of camera settings, the exposure triangle, and composition.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about what they want from photography. Are they simply looking to improve photos they take during vacation? Are they looking to create works of art for themselves?
