Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will connect with the rest client to get a reference of understanding. I will then find out what they want to focus on. We can then work off pictures, still life, or more technical practices.

I have over 30 years of experience with drawing, paintings and Color theory.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with young as 4 years old to adults.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
i find it important to allow the natural flow of creativity come out. To take a look at the direction the clients is going in and help be the catalyst to bring it out.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think it is important that the teacher and student feel comfortable around each other. Make sure the student doesn’t feel intimidated around the teacher, I believe it will stifle the creative process.
