RoseArt Atelier

I teach in classical techniques in drawing and painting. I learned about color, design, dipicting form and shape, shading and perspective along with many more art principles in my life long studies in art including a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and by studying with many master painters thorugh out my life. I have won numerous national awards and my work hangs in many collections throughout the country. I also have been invited to several national plein air inviationals - an honor only a select few artists in the country get to experience. I also have been selected to teach the plein air workshop in Ghost Ranch where Georgia O'Keefe lived and painted. I host small intimate classes, and I am known for my understanding of color and light and my ability to break down complexity in painting to a step by step approach and to convey this to my students in a fun and approachable format.

I enjoy working with my students and sharing the joy of painting and drawing and seeing the light bulb go off in their minds on how to see! Learning how to see is the first step to being an artists. I love giving my students the gift of learning how to see and how to create their own expression through art and see them succeed in their journey every step of the way.
