FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I prefer to have a phone discussion or 2 part email conversation to go over the specific details of the skills or education level desired and evaluate each students needs and expectations. After that we go over the class outline, prices and scheduling. I also re-inform all my student that I offer a 100% guarantee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an extreemly well rounded business and teaching bachground. I'm currently an adult school instructor and a general contractor/ consultant. Many of my specific skills and background details can be found on my main profile. I am an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver, Deep Diver and rescue Diver. I'm Medic First Aid Certified and have been FBI background checked more than 5 times in the last 5 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My rates are quite less as a teacher than as a contractor. Often clients hire me to teach and do repairs on their property at the same time.

My prices range between $75 and $100 per hour depending on several factors. Type of lessons and or repairs needed. Tools required. Distance traveled. 10% Cash Discounts Apply

100% Satisfaction Guaranteed !

How did you get started teaching?

When I was in my 20's, my dad owned a company and I was an employee trainer. From there I was able to teach any of my skills at any time.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have taught most types. Adults of all types and ages. Professionals in many industries. Homeowners and Contractors. Youths and Elementary School Kids. Special Needs Kids and Adults. Hearling Impared and ESL Kids. I have been a little league coach, a cub scout leader and a Science Olympiad Coach for towers and rockets.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I was able to teach a single mother how to repair her drywall and paint it. She saved herself several thousand dollars in the first month of repairs. She was so satisfied and extreemly thrilled to accomplish what she did.

I was able to teach a student how to work overseas and source his custom products in China and launch his company nationally. It was a great experience for him to do so well, with some professional assistance.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Hire a teacher that you want what they have. Pay for it. Get as much information and education as you can for the best price.

Remember, your great educators will teach you things that are going to stick with you for life and remember there is no price to put on that experience.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1. What is expected of this educational experience.

2. How much time is expected, how many classes to learn.

3. Will there be any unforseen costs or special concerns.

4. What type of guarantee is offered if nothing is learned
