About

Laced Up is a brother organization to For The Love of Basketball and we are here to provide boys 13 and under with a comfortable and welcoming environment to play and develop their skills in basketball.

I've been with For The Love of Basketball since November of 2019 where we run camps, clinics, training sessions, and leagues for girls youth around the Bay Area.

I've helped coach for Helms Middle School in the 2013-2014 school year and I recently worked at an after school program for Korematsu Middle School where I was in charge of the sport activites that the kids could play throughout the weeks.

I grew up in the Bay Area, specifically San Pablo and I love the game of basketball. I want to be able to give back to the community that helped raise me so I partnered up with For The Love of Basketball to create a program for boys youth centered around basketball

Frequently asked questions

My typical process for working with a new student is to talk to them to get an understanding of what their goals are so that I can get a feel for how I should go about the training. From there, I like to break the ice with a little game to get to know each other a little more and then proceed to the drills for the training session.

I've worked with kids for a few years now and I have had different experiences from coaching to training to just overall development in kids lives. I've attended different trainings such as the Bridging The Bay Conference where I had trainings on coaching youth development and creating nurturing environments.

$40/hour for one on one sessions

$25/hour for each person in groups of 5+

I started teaching when I was interning for my old after school program when I was a sophomore in High School. After college, i found myself gravitating back to working with the youth where i started working for another after school program and now recently i've been doing a lot more basketball clinincs and training sessions for girls youth. Along with girls youth, I am now dedicating my time and effort to spread the love I have of the game to boys youth as well

I've worked with a lot of kids in Middle School (age 11-13) and ive recently been doing a lot of work with girls youth in the past year. I'm open to working with any kid who wants to learn to love the game of basketball

Every teacher/trainer works and trains differently. One isn't better than the other. It just depends on if you like the coaching style of the coach and if you can see yourself improving with a certain teacher
