Finally -- YOU get to learn what YOU what to learn -- not what your teacher says you need to learn. I am offering a unique approach to lessons where we combine to learn what you need -- for example, you want to play lead guitar in a cover band, you want to complete all these wonderful song ideas you have begun, you want to understand how your favorite songs were written and/or played on guitar.

After many years in the tech industry -- I'm returning to my roots as a guitar and composition instructor. I have partnered with James Boblak (Grammy-winning music engineer) at Artspoke Studios and Skeptical Records in Berkeley and am now offering guitar, songwriting, and/or music theory lessons. We can also record your music, engineer/master/"fix" your music if you want those services as well.

I am the guitarist/composer of the 10+-year recording project UVTraveler. You can search Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, iTunes for my work to see and hear what I have done over the last 13 years. I also have a Ph.D. in Music Theory and am well qualified to tackle any topic you want in that area.
